CoP~

My gosh, i found out from Clarence that CoP is out in Singapore already at SLS. The most absurd thing is, we shouldn't have pre-ordered. Turns out there was a delay in the shipment and our pre-order would come late. However, SLS suppliers seem to have no such problem and they're already stocking it at their shops. How sad... still no CoP

Then again, i've heard the mission fights are darn tough, it'll be good for the NA and JP to discover sound strategy and tactics against the upcoming challenge.

On another note, when can i go for Dynamis again? Its always either Bastok or Beaucedine. I don't want to go for the former and i can't go to the latter unless i clear Windurst. Sigh... really should have joined Nesteaboy that day for Windy, things would be so different then >.<

Nidhogg Slayer~

Hey everyone, today, CL went to to the Dragon's Aery in The Boyahda Tree for Fafnir. It was a very interesting trip indeed and took the whole evening. It started off at 7pm SG time. Some of the LS was already at the Fafnir spawn point. I joined in somewhat halfway before he spawned. Seeing that there was only one LS there, i thought maybe i could go have dinner with ariel. After dinner, my brother shouted that there was a dragon on the screen any i should probably go take a look. I rushed to the computer and saw that Nidhogg spawned! But another LS had taken it ; ;

However, the other LS did not have enough manpower and was soon totally destroyed by Nidhogg, our LS then took over. I think we obeyed the laws of HNMs pretty properly, we did not engage the HNM until the LS that took it was completely wiped. We then got onto it. I learnt many things about dealing with Nidhogg. For one, no one is allowed to go behind it, therefore there were no fuidamas going on at all. Nidhogg has this attack called "Spike Flail" that attacks everyone its tail is facing, causing around 2-2.2k damage per person. More or less that means insta-death. Hence, the only way to kill him is to outlast him. Just keeping on bashing on him while healing and eventually stay on top!

The thing was... halfway while we were at it the LS managed to steal it from us. How exactly i have no idea... I think it was a bug, the whole alliance was wacking it and suddenly they claimed it. How weird. We soon got Nidhogg claimed back though and we carried on. Disaster then struck, for some reason one person behind Nidhogg got aggro... He did Spike Flail and took out the entire attack force... The paladins and the monk survived, bless high vit and high hp. Everyone else became paste. We were forced to release.

The whole LS rushed to the Dragon's Aery once more and the LS, seeing our defeat, followed suit. When the main body arrived, Nidhogg was already claimed ; ; We thought that we lost Nidhogg but the strangest thing happened. The other LS aggro-ed the Darters in the spawn area. The Darters are non aggro but link. I think a mis-targeted spell caused the entire Darter force to descend upon the other LS! They tried to surive but in the end, they were wiped once again. At last, CL got back to Nidhogg again and this time we finally won!

To be honest, the drop was kinda..... lacklustre. Neptunal leggings and a wyrm beard dropped. Congrats to Rukku for the legs and Kimu for the beard. A part of me wished that conventional Fafnir had spawned instead. Nidhogg really doesn't drop much loot but Fafnir drops alot of them. Alot of stuff i desire like Crimson mail and cuisses ^^;

Ah well... a fasntasy to be sure. Someday i want to be like Akira and wear that solid beautiful crimson mail. In the meantime however i'll just have to be satisfied with the title "Nidhogg Slayer" ^^;

Another day in Ru'ann Gardens

Hi everyone ^^ Today my dad gave me a lift back home. I got back just in time to join the advance party in god-item hunting. We killed Steam Cleaner, Zicpacna and Olla. After that, we went for Suzaku and Seiryu. The most interesting thing was, Seiryu dropped an aquarian abjuration legs. From all the documentation i've seen so far, there has been no record of Seiryu dropping it at all. I guess it goes to show that anything is possible, just that the chance of it is really low.

Also, i was dead tired too, could barely stay awake. Its a good thing Ariel logged on for me for 30 minutes. This gave me enough time to take a quick shower and eat my dinner as well. I really cherished that 30 minutes of time. It sure made the rest of sky go that much better

Well... just a typical day in sky, nothing too unusual except for that abjuration thing. Congrats to Kimu for getting it!

Dynamis-Bastok

Hello everyone, you wouldn't believe it. Today (or rather, yesterday) my Dynamis LS went to Dynamis-Bastok. For the record, i've been going for dynamis at least 10 times and for everytime i've went, not a single rdm AF2 dropped. Today, things were different, a pair of Duelist gloves dropped!!!

You can tell everyone was excited because everyone was shouting "Red Mage AF!!" and stuff like that. All the 10 red mages lotted and my God's grace, everyone bidded lower than 400! In fact, most bidded below 300... i was really lucky and lotted 833 for it. I swear, my heart was beating so fast and i was so excited i could hardly believe it. Ariel couldn't contain herself as well. I was on the phone with her and she was just as excited as i was! Just look at the statistics: 10 red mages so its 10 percent chance of getting it. Compared to say... thief, where there are around 3-4 of them, the chance of getting it is much higher. The chance of it dropping is low by itself, the fact that I lotted so high and everyone else so low simpy stupifies me.

So excited, its a memory that i'll carry with me for a long time. So happy! You can look below to see how it looks like. For the record, the stats are: Def 17 MP+18 INT+4 Magic Def. Bonus+2 Enhancing Magic skill+15. A very nice piece for sure. Definitely will treasure it for a long long while. Thank you God!

Another day in Ru'Ann Gardens

Hi everyone, andy writing this post. Brought Elowen to sky today for another round at the gods. Today, we did Seiryu, Genbu and Suzaku. I was only in the main body for Seiryu but that's alright ^^ She dropped her kote and Akuma got it. Redram wants it too, i hope he gets it the next time she drops the kote /cheer

Also, while in sky, i had the chance to chat with both Redram and Freewill. Redram is a Samurai or "hitokiri" and Freewill is a paladin or "tate" Both of them are teaching me Japanese. I'm not a very good learner but we're both learning from each other and that's a good thing.

Also, Crystalline has updated her homepage, i can't access the Point chart anymore coz its protected by password >.< I should ask Shinobu-san about it tomorrow. Hopefully i'll be able to access it again soon. According to Redram, there are 2 pieces of damascene cloth in the treasury which means @1 to making a vermillion cloak! Freewill wants to get it as well so it'll be down to a matter of points. I'm really in conflict over the whole matter. I want the cloak but Freewill wants it as well. Sigh, what to do?

Anyways, I don't think i'll be able to get it ; ; The reason being i'm only able to attend sky on monday and tuesday but not friday nor saturday. This makes for very bad attendance= low Points ; ;
I'm not sure how this will all end up, i really want the cloak. Sigh... I'll have to ask Shinobu-san about it tomorrow. Also, i got to increase my attendance somehow...
